No one wants to play a piano with a broken or sticking key, especially when learning to play! Normally, these small problems can be easily corrected and are included in the tuning fee.

D. Royce Boyer
D. Royce Boyer DMA, has tuned by ear for more than 50 years and serves in the greater Jackson, Mississippi and Huntsville, Alabama communities. He holds a Certificate from the School of Pianoforte Technology, Chicago Illinois. In retirement from full-time professorship and department chair of music, he tunes approximately 400-500 pianos a year, and has tuned for well-known classical, pop, and jazz artists including Van Cliburn, Ramsey Lewis, Ellis Marsalis, Alicia de Larrocha, Cassandra Wilson, and George Winston.
